Change Desktop Wallpaper in Windows 10
Windows 10 |
After installing Windows 10, do you want your previous
familiar desktop wallpaper back? Or you just want your screen to look better as
your personality? Don’t worry; the same features are available in Windows
10 too that have been a staple of previous versions of Windows.
To get started, right click on your desktop or you could go
to Settings (using new Action Center's "All settings" or by
writing Settings in Cortana search box).
Whichever method you choose, select Personalization (click
on Personalize, if you choose to right click on desktop). Here's the screen
that you will see:
Note it display you a glance of your desktop as you choose
different selections in the Settings dialog. You can see, you have an option
between using a solid color, picture, or slideshow for your desktop background,
aka wallpaper.
Right now sampling of 5 pictures display under "Choose
your picture," link but you're not restricted to those. You can choose any
image file on your local drive that's in JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF, or any other
format. After you have selected the wallpaper that you want, you need to choose
how to display it on the screen, because not every picture has the same aspect
ratio as your screen. Your fit options are Fill, Stretch, Fit, Center, Tile, and
Span. That lets you spread a picture across multiple screens, a feature that
Windows 8 introduced.
