Switch from Android to iPhone

Turn your Android into iPhone

Apple released its first application for Android devices, and it allows you to turn your Android phone into an iPhone. Application name is "Move to iOS" the application does exactly what it promises to users.

Don't set-up your iPhone until you have downloaded the application and are good to go on your iPhone. The transfer procedure will not work if you have fired up already your iPhone and set up. If you have, then you will have to follow the guidelines from Apple to transfer your content or start from scratch.

From the new iPhone, you have to choose the "move content from Android" after you have worked on the first screen where you choose connect to a Wi-Fi network and language; then you have to enter 10-digits of code. Once you entered, it's time to turn back to your Android and start the Move to iOS application.

The transfer time might vary depending on the size of content that you want to transfer. Our experience took five minutes, with some pictures that were stored in Google Photos. The only difficulty was at the end, when Apple wants you to recycle your Android device. Unless it's a omit some piece of data, you will be better off selling to any third party to get cash back.

 BlackBerry Priv

BlackBerry Priv Final Price is confirmed
BlackBerry Priv

The BlackBerry Priv is available to purchase in the UK. Users who intend to buy can pre-order it from directly Carphone Warehouse with contract cost starting from £39 per month, with an additional cost of £59.99.

For those who want to pick up without SIM, it will cost them around $890. That take the BlackBerry Priv on to the level of top handsets in the market, such as the iPhone6S, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Sony Xperia Z5.

Is it Worth the Money?
We are still looking for the list of full specifications, but what we know until now is that the Priv have a 5.4 inch display screen, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, hexa-core snapdragon chip, a certified 18 megapixels of rear camera and 3,410mAh battery.

Additionally it comes with dual-curved screen, slide out keyboard and a DTEK (warning system application to increase the privacy of handset.)

BlackBerry Priv final price is confirmed and company planning to release it on November 6. At least Priv has the specifications to rival the giant crop of flagship smartphones.

 iPhone video resolution

 iPhone video resolution

If you are running the latest iOS9 on an iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 or newer, you have the option to adjust what resolution the rear camera captures video at. A lower quality setting is an option to pick when you have low memory storage, or if you don't want any extra pixel. You can do this setting for both standard video and slo-mo videos recordings. Making the turn is easy and fast — let see how.

Tap to Settings > Photos & Camera, choose either Record Slow-mo or Record Video and choose resolution that you want from the listed selection.

Remember that the higher the frame rate and resolution, the more memory space video will take up on your device. For example:

Slo-mo video recording
·         720p HD at 240fps (most frames, default): 300MB per minute
·         1080p HD at 120fps: 375MB per minute

Standard video recording
·         4k (highest resolution; iPhone 6S and 6S Plus only): 375MB per minute
·         1080p HD at 30fps (default resolution): 130MB per minute
·         1080p HD at 60fps (smoother video): 200MB per minute
·         720p HD at 30fps: 60MB per minute

Asus ZenWatch 2

Asus ZenWatch 2
Asus ZenWatch 2

The tablets and smartphones of Asus might not be much attractive in the stylish way, but when Asus comes to the arena of ZenWatch there is a reason to pay attention and sit up. In fact, I should say that the ZenWatch 2 is the coolest and nicest looking watch out there in the market running Android Wear - and that's especially for someone who doesn’t really like square faced watches.

The Apple smartwatch is might be the most comparable watch in terms features and design, then, the Zenwatch 2 just a little bit thicker. But wear it up and you will notice that it does not look quite as crafted beautifully in the hand and the back side is made of plastic. However the cost is surprisingly lower at $168 for the smaller version and $190 for the larger model.

Asus watches almost have the same design and looks, also the same AMOLED display. One big change in ZenWatch 2 is the physical button on the right side of the watch; this is not looks like the Apple Watch's crown. Watch is also comes with no biometric sensors but assuming the half-hearted fitness functionality on most Android Wears right now, that isn’t a bad thing.

Three colors of cases – rose gold, gunmetal and silver – load of possible combinations and a 18 strap options. Smartwatch manufacturers have rapidly caught onto the reality that wearables needs more privacy than a smartphone.

Features

The ZenWatch 2 running Android Wear, but company is also freighting it with lots of ZenWatch- watchfaces. We scrolled some of them, which start from the classic clock appearance to little bit more zany styles.

The personal touches of Asus run deeper than exclusive watchfaces. The ZenWatch 2 also equipped with directly watch-to-watch data sharing functionality called ZenWatch Message feature, which allow you send doodles and emojis to friends.

It also comes with built-in smart assistant application that intends to provide you a little bit more information by using less time - but we were not able to use this feature in our demo.
This feels like a rebuff at Google, and I don’t know exactly why Asus has done it in ZenWatch 2.

Initially I thought it probably because the watch will be one of the first Android-Wear smartwatches to be compatible with iOS, but then Motorola revealed that its Moto 360 will provide Google Now on the iPhone.

For battery life, it will survive average of two days from the ZenWatch 2, but you can enhance it a little bit more with lower power settings.

Despite that when you think about the price, for one of the most tempting smartwatches in the market right now. The ZenWatch 2 has released and you can buy one from the Google App Store also from other locations.

we can consider right now is that Asus has bring a good spot between price and design here, along with a core focus on customization which can help the ZenWatch 2 stay at the top among Android Wear watches that hitting the market right now.

Download Android 6.0 Marshmallow

download Android 6.0 marshmallow

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now available to download only for Google Nexus devices as an OTA update!

Android operating system is the most popular over the entire world, billions of devices installed Android operating system around the world, that’s why it's so amazing that Google has brought a new version, far better than ever previous versions.

As usual the new version comes with a variety of new features and improvements, and while it will debut on new Nexus smartphones Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, soon it will be available to download for most modern Android smartphones for free of cost.

The 6.0 Marshmallow update is commonly given out by your phone’s manufacturer and it may take some months to upgrade with new Android 6.0 Marshmallow, before upgrading make sure that your device is compatible with new version.

If you are so exciting about new version and can’t wait that long, there are other methods to download and install new Android 6.0 Marshmallow right now on your device.

Right now only the preview or uncomplete version of Marshmallow has been released and available only for Nexus 9, Nexus 6, Nexus 5 and other Nexus Players. This procedure can be performed with other Android phones, but right now we really don’t recommend it, as it's probably end in failure – or even a broken device. You have been warned to install it on your device.

Google Products

Google defeated the technology headlines in this week. It released a new model of its Chromecast Television streamer called the Chromecast 2, and an only audio streamer named the Audio Chromecast; it revealed the Pixel C, the first official tablet from Google and a competitive competitor to Microsoft Surface and interestingly, it’s an Android device rather than Chrome OS one; and two new phablets/phone, the Nexus 6p and Nexus 5X.

The $379 Nexus 5X is "run an unlocked version of Android Marshmallow and phone comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p screen and Qualcomm 808 processor. Cameras are the best kicker: now there is a 5 megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 12.3 megapixel rear camera," Matt Swider reports, and the $499 Nexus 6P comes with " 5.7 inch AMOLED screen, with a Qualcomm 810 octa core CPU and 3GB of main memory. Same as the Nexus 5X, the rear camera of Nexus 6P is 12.3 megapixels, while the front camera is now upgrade to 8 megapixel. Both handsets also support Type-c USB connectors and support a sensor for fingerprinting on the back."

Not all the news about Google was good, though. In this week, Reuters reported that FTC is inquiring Google's bundling of its applications with Android, some apps that can fall foul of anti trust law.

Delete All Emails in iOS 9

ios 9

We have heard the complaints about people are not able to delete all email from their iPad or iPhone. There have something technical to do, as they need weird finger gymnastics and it doesn’t work all the time.
Happily, Apple has heard this complain too, so in latest iOS9 they have included a quick method to delete all email easily. Just go in your inbox, click the Edit link in the top right corner in inbox, then click the Trash All link in the bottom right corner. You will be given a warning to confirm that are you sure to delete all your email? Do so and all your emails will be deleted and sent to the trash folder. Remember that this method will not work if you are in the folder of All Inboxes- it will work only with per-account basis.

If you want to delete all email from your iPhone, go to your All Trash (or Trash) folder, tap the Edit link, then hit the Delete All link, and then confirm. Now all unwanted emails removed permanently!
However, if you are not using iOS 9 yet, you still need to use a workaround. Select Inbox or All Inboxes, press Edit button, hit the circle to the left side of each of your email, then click and hold for a while Move button with one finger, then, with other finger, uncheck all the emails you checked recently. When you move your finger from Move button, all of your emails should be selected to shift into new location; select to move them to the Trash.

Lumia 950 XL

lumia 950
Lumia 950

Microsoft is planning to release its first smartphone in last months, but it's not going to cost cheap: a new leak about pricing is suggests that price of Lumia 950 XL will be around the price as an iPhone 6S in Europe. According to Spanish retailer, the price of larger Lumia 950 XL is set to €749 while the Lumia 950 will cost €659.

That's a big price tag – it's the same price for an iPhone 6S in Spain, and it's seems to be same price in France when Apple releases its price.

Should you buy it?

Rumors suggest that Lumia 950 will come with 5.2-inch screen with a display resolution of 1440 x 2560, a Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of main memory. That's with 32GB of internal memory and battery of 3,000mAh.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL feels like the most elegant proposition, comes with 5.7-inch screen with display resolution of 1440 x 2560, a Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of main memory and battery of 3,300mAh. 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 20MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.

Considering the position of Windows smartphone right now, it's enjoyable that Microsoft think that it can keep its smartphones price same as Apple's latest models.

It'll be more interesting to see its price in US and UK – and also interesting to see how it compete an iPhone in terms of sales.

iPhone 6S Review

iPhone 6s review
iPhone 6s

I often dread the gone years for Apple releases – the iPhone 3GS, 4S and 5S have all been dull compared to the other phones that sat either side of them. There's usually very small difference in the "S" versions from their predecessors models, thus making it little bit difficult to get excited.
The iPhone 6S is a stunning upgrade for those who currently on 5S, and a most attractive phone in its own way. If you want an upgrade from the previous design and want to be stylish with Apple, then this is a great phone to go for.

Design

The same device stick that people use to beat iPhone users still exists in iPhone 6s: yes, by look this is almost prominent to previous year's iPhone 6, with the same metal look and little bit protruding primary camera so that you can put it side by side with the device and not really any big difference. The only big change is the more thickness in new version, very likely adds the new 3D Touch technology on the display. As compared with other powerful phones on the market such as Samsung galaxy s6 edge or galaxy s6 the iPhone 6S still handles to mix that functionality of premium model with a thin and light handset – it's a reason to hold.

Apple's nod to the updated build with 7000 series aluminum is a direct outcome of the iPhone 6's "Bend gate," in which the handset was expected to be little bit prone to changing body shape if more pressure was applied. Apple does not require sympathy; it was still a slightly harsh that it get singled for this problem when some other phones could also move if you tried.

3D Touch

Now move to the great change in iPhone 6S which is 3D Touch. This changes almost everything for users, and yet it's not sufficient reason to upgrade your phone from the 6, it's a little bit nifty function that promises once again to make current iPhone 5S owners look like they are going to get real update with their new handset.

Camera

The expected rumor about the camera of new iPhone 6s has revealed: the iPhone 6S equipped with 12MP primary camera and it feels like it will provide in spades. The requirement to play in megapixels was hardly warranted for any brand despite the need to attract customers with high numbers, but in this year everything is going to jump forward. The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with stunning 16MP camera and taking elegant photos and Sony Xperia Z5 equipped with 23MP camera and super amazing autofocus quality, actually uses these extra pixels to good quality. Apple also has to keep up.

I only tested the camera briefly yet, there is really no doubt that there is an upgrade in iPhone 6s. It still sustains the speed of taking photos that I can expect from any Apple’s Phone.

If you already have an iPhone 6 model, there's small point in owning this for a little updates. But for everyone on a previous model, or thinking about defecting or overcome to Android, then this phone is worth to check out –importantly now its price is matched with other flagship handsets in the market.

HTC One A9 Review

HTC One A9
HTC One A9

Rumors of an HTC smartphone aren’t new, but the extensive quantity of rumors point to a superphone, possibly named the One Aero / A9. It’s expected to release later in this year equipped with the powerful specifications.

Release Date

HTC hasn't yet confirmed the release date of HTC Aero, but it will release in late-2015 release. While Aero is another name for the A9, we have also heard that the Aero is a phone with mid-range specifications and that A9 is a more powerful phone.
In terms of availability of the phone, we are hearing in October, before the Christmas shopping period. Either way we are expecting to release in Q4, 2015.

HTC One A9 / HTC Aero price

The price of HTC Aero will be lower than the HTC One. Although HTC Chairwoman told the Taipei Times that there would be a great phone out in October, our resources tell us we are expecting two phones: the HTC One A9 and the mid-range HTC Aero.

HTC One A9 / HTC Aero Specs

The HTC One A9 made appeared on Geekbench last week. The benchmarking revealed the MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor and 4GB of RAM, which only have been seen before on the Acer Predator 6 gaming phone.

Equipped with the most efficient processor in the phone industry right now, surpassing Nvidia’s Tegra K1 and Snapdragon 810. 4GB of RAM make it most powerful device in the market. The reports didn’t provide any other information. Past rumors tell a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel display, but that resolution was for the HTC Aero, not for the HTC One A9. Battery life is the big question with the both devices. Such a large amount of power is required to power a deca-core processor and 2K display, HTC has to outfit the phone with a powerful battery.

HTC One A9 expected to run Android Marshmallow out of the box. This is according to @LlabTooFeR, who has an awesome track record when it comes to HTC phones. He is also reporting that the latest version of HTC’s user interface, Sense 7, also be installed on the device.
The complete benchmark can be fake, as we’ve take a look on these sites again and again, but HTC has planned an event on September 29. A smartwatch is also expected to be announced at the event, alongside smartphones.

GeekBench reports that handset racks up a multicore processor score of 5884 – which is far faster than the OnePlus 2's score of 4741 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's score of 5084.While these high  scores point to a most powerful handset, it doesn't fully blow these smartphones out of the water.

Claiming the big failure of the HTC One M9, HTC may want to get another flagship quickly to bring in new users. It even announced the One M9+ with a 2K display resolution earlier this year to test and entice dozens of customers. So we can hopefully get a chance to try how fast this 10 core monster is, if these rumors are accurate.

Most Popular Messaging Apps

most popular messaging apps

Facebook rules the western countries, with the two mostly used applications both owned by the Facebook: WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Mark Zuckerberg revealed in June that the Facebook Messenger application had 700 million users. Meanwhile, WhatsApp that Facebook had purchased for $16 billion recently reported 900 million monthly active users.

The application usages ratio isn’t same in Japan, China, India and South Korea. Each country has its own messenger apps, each with amazing features.

China's WeChat

China’s WeChat messenger has more than 500 million monthly users, with around 85%of that number in country. It offers a long list of features, including smartwatch compatibility and location sharing, but most impressive feature that makes Wechat unique is called weishang.

Weishang specially introduced for microbusiness, it enable users to sell services and goods to their contacts, advertising their products or services by status update function. In July, Chinese home appliance experimented by recruiting 20,000 people to sell their products through WeChat.

India's Nimbuzz

Nimbuzz is a most widely used messenger application in India. It offers a simple and very useful feature that's incredibly rare in the messenger marketplace.
Developed by Dutch-owned, the app let its users to communicate across different messenger apps. Other direct competitors as Viber or WhatsApp aren't compatible with this feature; Nimbuzz users can communicate their friends across different platforms like Google Plus, Facebook Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.

Japan's Line

Line was developed by NHN Japan, a property of South Korean technology company Naver. The app's development was necessitated in 2011 tsunami and Tohoku earthquake with NHN Japan's employees develop Line to communicate with employees.

The application was available for public use later that year and now just after four years; it has been installed by more than 600 million users.
The hallmark of the Line is the huge quantity of its stickers that comes with application. Line is equipped with over 10,000 emoticons, for emotive needs of users. For comparison, there are around 900 emojis available – all emotions are not usable on the same device.

South Korea's KakaoTalk

South Koreans always like to use local things. Local companies such as LG and Samsung are two of the most wonderful mobile companies in the country, and Kaokao Talk, created by Kakao Inc, it is used by 93 percent of South Koreans.

And there's another good reason too, application is one of the world's most powerful messengers. With the functionality of voice calls and standard messaging, the application is open source, allows its users to make unique and creative themes for themselves and others.

OnePlus 2 Specs

OnePlus 2 specs
OnePlus 2

OnePlus 2 released last week, so if you are using still 15 month old OnePlus One phone and have not pick a new invite, you are officially breaking the "Never Settle" motto of company. The big news is that the new OnePlus 2 phone makes some important improvements to the specifications while keep the price relatively less. It fit better everything, from the screen, to the back camera and the internal processor.

OnePlus 2 release date

The 5.5 inch OnePlus 2 handset with 64GB memory starts rolling out to phablet sized on 11th August in the Europe, UK and India. Its release is little bit delayed in the United States till late August, and will comes to Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia later this year.
The entry level 16GB device is also expected to ship later in this year, and while it's much cost effective, it comes with low memory storage and 3GB of main memory instead of 4GB.

OnePlus 2 price

OnePlus 1 was also an awesome handset because it comes with high end specs on an affordable budget, and the price of OnePlus 2 is little bit high than its previous model, but it's still relatively cheap.
It starts at $329 with 16GB version, while the much desirable version with 64GB option starts at $389. The price is really the one you want to pick up. That comparison with previous model that now costs around $250 for the 16GB, and $300 for the 64GB device. But it’s still cheaper than any other similarly sized 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at $814 and 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S6 at $600.

OnePlus 2 specs

There's especially more for the extra income. The OnePlus 2 handset comes with a 5.5-inch display at 1080p, it's far brighter than previous model, and that really matters. Seeing the screen of handset in sunlit conditions extend the requirement for a 4K resolution, in any sunny day. And with 401 pixels per inch (PPI) is sufficient for most handset buyers on affordable budget.

The body of OnePlus 2 is a slightly thicker than OnePlus 1, but minimize the bezel just a tad, for a small width and length. The dimensions of phone are 74.9 x 151.8 x 9.85mm and now it weighs little bit heavier 175g instead of 162g. That's good, because what's inside in the center of this stunning smartphone is a faster chip, two nano SIM cards slots, a better camera and bigger battery.

Snapdragon 820 Specs

Snapdragon 820

The new Snapdragon 820 has been discussed frequently over the past few days. After the big overheating issue that engrosses the previous Snapdragon 810 and took its cost on Qualcomm's survival in the phone industry, the company needs to make some major changes with its upcoming next generation chip snapdragon 820. A lot of roomers are floating about the Snapdragon 820 and its success, which has made the industry more curious to know more about the silicon chip.

The Snapdragon 820 was initially announced in March at the Mobile Congress trade show in Spain, but the company has not share too many information about it yet. The chip might be introduced again on 11th August in Los Angeles, but a China based analyst has already revealed what it is going to offer.

The processor is expected to be designed by using the 14nm FinFET technology, as like iPhone 6s processor. The central processing unit will have only four Hydra 64-bit CPUs.

The Snapdragon 820 will also able to support dual channel LPDDR4 memory with the speeds of more than 1688 Mhz. Front and back camera abilities have also been improved greatly. The new processor will able to support up to 28MP cameras with post-processing DSP and programmable preprocessing, which will offer manufacturers a high level of control on its devices.

Naturally, the improvements in multimedia have been manifest in the hardware as well. The new Snapdragon 820 chip will come fully equipped to handle 4K videos at 60fps with no distortion. Another amazing new update is a dedicated low powered sensor for controlling "emerging always on cases".

Yet it’s not much clear about which tablets or smartphones will be the first to put the Snapdragon 820 chip inside, but Qualcomm will have this chip ready at the end of this year, it means that the processor will be placed in new devices that come in stores in the first Quarter of 2016.

We get impressed with the front facing camera of HTC Desire Eye: it's fast, its great authority (make it around £350), it sounds great with nice screen. Better still, it makes your personality look pretty. 13 MP front camera make it best selfie phone in the list.

2. Oppo N1

Oppo N1

The new Oppo N1 is probably is also one of the best selfie phones of 2015. That’s not only because of its front camera, actually it does not have any separate camera for taking selfies, and its main camera can swivel all around to face the front.

3. LG G4

LG G4

LG has changed its way with the release of leather models which user like rather than other colors. The ceramic and new model will be cheap but feels plasticky and cheap. Hardware is once again incredibly strong - specially the front facing camera - but not far different with the G3 and has tough competition.

4. Nokia Lumia 735

Huawei finally has launched an elegant handset named Ascend P7 and comes with good value for your money with non-flagship price. Phone also present some stunning hardware on offer, especially the 8 MP front facing camera but the P7 still have some software performance problem.

Galaxy S6 Edge

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a most wonderful smartphone from Samsung, one of the most elegant but the handset design has some flaws such as sharp corners. While battery is non-removable is an inevitable output, we're highly surprised about the lack of microSD card and waterproofing, but its 16MP primary camera with autofocus, optical image stabilization and LED flash with the 5MP front camera which can captures amazing selfie shots.

7. Sony Xperia C3

best selfie phones

Sony has much confident with the Xperia C3’s selfie-taking utility that’s the main point it’s selling it on. The phone comes with a 5 MP of front-facing camera, with an LED flash. Not much smartphones have that much megapixels in their front-facing cameras and only few have LED flash in front cameras, so that’s an awesome start. As the Oppo N1, its LED flash is built to skip soft, flattering light. The front camera also comes with wide range of lens so you can adjust more people into a shot.s

Apple's next IOS update, coming on June 8, 2015

IOS 9 features
IOS 9
IOS 9 is latest operating system from Apple for its i devices like the iPad and iPhone, released at the global Developers Conference on June 8. iOS 9 develops on the content that was introduced in iOS 8 and iOS 7, bringing little design improvements, improved functionality, refined features, and performance improvements. iOS 9's great focus is on proactivity and intelligence, allowing its devices to learn more user interaction and act on that data, opening apps when we think in mind about that, making recommendations on different places that we might like, and helping us throughout our daily life to ensure we're where we want to be at the same time.

IOS 9 Features

Low Power Mode
I cannot say much things about new Low Power mode feature. I love that because it asks at 20% and again at 10%, and then turns off itself automatically once you are charged up to 80$%. And you still can use all the features of your iPhone: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Location Services, GPS, etc.

Automatically organize your selfies in Photos
A small but very useful tweak to the new iOS 9 to keep all your photos well organized, if you are a selfie enthusiast, it is very useful for you. Pics taken with the front camera get placed automatically in a Selfies folder.

New San Francisco font
A font designed by Apple that was also used in the Apple Watch. This latest San Francisco font is used in Spotlight search, Settings and in the native applications.

An intuitive Shift key
I really love this tweaks made to the existing iOS keyboard—especially the Shift key in IOS9. I know, this is very far from revolution, but this tweak makes it very easy to tell if the caps lock is turned on or off.

Go back to previous app with small, new Back button
The new Back button rocks my way of using iPhone and iPadPro. If I am using Twitter, and I got notification or message from Instagram, I can view that message, tap to Instagram, switch inside Instagram, and still can go back to Twitter.

Siri is now your new personal DJ
In new iOS 9, Siri’s gotten a lot worth. Siri is not only serving up data about the different directions and weather, but it can answer all your complex questions like, “get me photos from last winter.”

Easy editing of long piece of text
Feature is only work with iPad, you can put two fingers on the keyboard and it quickly becomes a trackpad, and let you select large piece of text with one click. The new feature on the bar assit you format the content or copy/cut/paste it with one tap.
