Switch from Android to iPhone

Turn your Android into iPhone

Apple released its first application for Android devices, and it allows you to turn your Android phone into an iPhone. Application name is "Move to iOS" the application does exactly what it promises to users.

Don't set-up your iPhone until you have downloaded the application and are good to go on your iPhone. The transfer procedure will not work if you have fired up already your iPhone and set up. If you have, then you will have to follow the guidelines from Apple to transfer your content or start from scratch.

From the new iPhone, you have to choose the "move content from Android" after you have worked on the first screen where you choose connect to a Wi-Fi network and language; then you have to enter 10-digits of code. Once you entered, it's time to turn back to your Android and start the Move to iOS application.

The transfer time might vary depending on the size of content that you want to transfer. Our experience took five minutes, with some pictures that were stored in Google Photos. The only difficulty was at the end, when Apple wants you to recycle your Android device. Unless it's a omit some piece of data, you will be better off selling to any third party to get cash back.

Easy Trade Up

Easy Trade Up

Microsoft wants you to own a new Windows 10 laptop and they will pay you when you switch from your old MacBook or laptop.

A promotion offer from official has been launched named it “Easy Trade Up”, by using this offer users can get $200 for an old laptop and $300 for selling a MacBook. After that user can spend that money back to buy a Windows 10 laptop that will cost around $599, Users will purchase it directly from Microsoft Store.

The list of Windows 10 devices from which users can choose includes the Asus ZenBook UX205, Dell XPS 13, and HP Spectre x360.

Surprisingly, Microsoft has not added its own devices in the list. Sadly, both the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are nowhere to be in offer.

If your device isn’t more than five years old, you can get good price by selling that device through Amazon, eBay and even Gazelle. And if your laptop is more than five years old then it makes sense to go through Easy Trade Up program by Microsoft.

More than 1.1 million users has been installed Windows 10 on their devices, its great news for Microsoft and awful for manufacturing companies, as most individuals held off on buying new device when they want to upgrade their OS for free. After a low period of PC sales in the summer, it's not much surprising to expect such kind of offer from Microsoft and manufacturers to get users to buy new device.

skype video call

Microsoft made the Skype Omnipresent. The application for video chat can be used by everyone in the world with just an internet connection, even users who don’t have a Skype account.

The new feature enables Skype users to generate a URL and spread it on the internet for direct video chat; users can also participate in group calls. The links can be spread in several ways, such as Facebook, Twitter and email, allow users to chat with anyone via Skype for Web.

Initially, this feature compatible and works fine on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS users. The only restriction is that the feature is available to use only for UK and US residents. Soon company will make it accessible globally, according to an official statement.

Now that anyone can use Skype with internet connection, it's funny if we think about it three weeks before, when Skype was down and no one was able to use the Skype for some hours. Of course, Microsoft accepted and fixed it in short time.

Company has worked with diligence to build Skype usage, including developing a public app that offered a single user experience among all types of operating systems and devices, enabling Skype to convert calls into six different languages and giving secured access to business owners on iOS devices.

Around 300 million people are using Skype across the world, making Skype the 8th biggest social network, according to survey from Statista.

Delete All Emails in iOS 9

ios 9

We have heard the complaints about people are not able to delete all email from their iPad or iPhone. There have something technical to do, as they need weird finger gymnastics and it doesn’t work all the time.
Happily, Apple has heard this complain too, so in latest iOS9 they have included a quick method to delete all email easily. Just go in your inbox, click the Edit link in the top right corner in inbox, then click the Trash All link in the bottom right corner. You will be given a warning to confirm that are you sure to delete all your email? Do so and all your emails will be deleted and sent to the trash folder. Remember that this method will not work if you are in the folder of All Inboxes- it will work only with per-account basis.

If you want to delete all email from your iPhone, go to your All Trash (or Trash) folder, tap the Edit link, then hit the Delete All link, and then confirm. Now all unwanted emails removed permanently!
However, if you are not using iOS 9 yet, you still need to use a workaround. Select Inbox or All Inboxes, press Edit button, hit the circle to the left side of each of your email, then click and hold for a while Move button with one finger, then, with other finger, uncheck all the emails you checked recently. When you move your finger from Move button, all of your emails should be selected to shift into new location; select to move them to the Trash.

Microsoft Office 2016

office 2016

Microsoft is a productivity organization, claims Satya Nadella CEO. While that offers a verity of solutions from the cloud services Office 365 to the mobile applications for Android and iOS (along with Skype, Dynamics and Power BI), for everyone, MS Office is the most productivity software.
That said, between Apple's Pages and Numbers, Google Docs, Box's Office viewers and even Libre Office, Microsoft Office has multiple competitions. With MS Office 2016, Microsoft need to upgrade its basic features, develop a cloud based services like Office 365 and OneDrive, and deliver extra tools for tablets and smartphones that never have a keyboard.

There are some wonderful new functionality in welcome screens and individual apps across the Office suite on the front interface, as well as new management and security and features. But this is a slightly familiar option, to the feature that we have not found yet in PowerPoint or Word 2016. New Office has the simple click-to-run feature that lets you use complete Office before the actual installation finishes (the small video clip you watch plays in PowerPoint 2016 actually). If the any option you want hasn't download, the Office will let you know about that download – and priorities installing that option next so you utilize it.

Microsoft reports that Office 2016 will look more colorful; we would call it little bit chunkier than previous versions as well. In fact the front interface now offers you an option of five basic Themes to choose from rather than the three Themes in previous Office 2013. You can still choose light grey or white background and header on each display, and only display the accent color for all programs in the backstage and status bar menu that starts from the File tab on the top.

The medium grey theme is have little bit similar contrast with the dark grey theme in previous Office 2013, with a black backstage menu and dark grey  background – the dark grey theme in Office 2016 really a dark grey contrast, so that commands and icons have even dark colors. Some people like the look and feel but this theme is just an accessibility feature for those who have visual problems.
The MS Office 2016 preview is only available for Office 365 users currently, and only for those who have Pro Plus subscriptions (because they add the license for all features and applications), but not all of the security and management features coming with the suite are enabled yet.

Admins have more customization choice for the Click-to-Run feature (you still use the deployment tools of Office to work with) and officials say there are some security updates and bug fixes in the program installer. You'll be allowed to see how you get new features and bug fixes without disabling security updates and you can manage your system to get monthly updates in your Office 2016. We have not yet seen the final list of features for new release, but the way pf people pay for Office 2016 is making it more impressive than previous releases. More Office users are purchasing an Office 365 packages that let them use Office 2016 without paying anything extra.

Whichever method you choose, select Personalization (click on Personalize, if you choose to right click on desktop). Here's the screen that you will see:

Right now sampling of 5 pictures display under "Choose your picture," link but you're not restricted to those. You can choose any image file on your local drive that's in JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF, or any other format. Your fit options are Fill, Stretch, Fit, Center, Tile, and Span. That lets you spread a picture across multiple screens, a feature that Windows 8 introduced.

Apple's next IOS update, coming on June 8, 2015

IOS 9 features
IOS 9
IOS 9 is latest operating system from Apple for its i devices like the iPad and iPhone, released at the global Developers Conference on June 8. iOS 9 develops on the content that was introduced in iOS 8 and iOS 7, bringing little design improvements, improved functionality, refined features, and performance improvements. iOS 9's great focus is on proactivity and intelligence, allowing its devices to learn more user interaction and act on that data, opening apps when we think in mind about that, making recommendations on different places that we might like, and helping us throughout our daily life to ensure we're where we want to be at the same time.

IOS 9 Features

Low Power Mode
I cannot say much things about new Low Power mode feature. I love that because it asks at 20% and again at 10%, and then turns off itself automatically once you are charged up to 80$%. And you still can use all the features of your iPhone: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Location Services, GPS, etc.

Automatically organize your selfies in Photos
A small but very useful tweak to the new iOS 9 to keep all your photos well organized, if you are a selfie enthusiast, it is very useful for you. Pics taken with the front camera get placed automatically in a Selfies folder.

New San Francisco font
A font designed by Apple that was also used in the Apple Watch. This latest San Francisco font is used in Spotlight search, Settings and in the native applications.

An intuitive Shift key
I really love this tweaks made to the existing iOS keyboard—especially the Shift key in IOS9. I know, this is very far from revolution, but this tweak makes it very easy to tell if the caps lock is turned on or off.

Go back to previous app with small, new Back button
The new Back button rocks my way of using iPhone and iPadPro. If I am using Twitter, and I got notification or message from Instagram, I can view that message, tap to Instagram, switch inside Instagram, and still can go back to Twitter.

Siri is now your new personal DJ
In new iOS 9, Siri’s gotten a lot worth. Siri is not only serving up data about the different directions and weather, but it can answer all your complex questions like, “get me photos from last winter.”

Easy editing of long piece of text
Feature is only work with iPad, you can put two fingers on the keyboard and it quickly becomes a trackpad, and let you select large piece of text with one click. The new feature on the bar assit you format the content or copy/cut/paste it with one tap.

In next screen, Microsoft wants you to fill the form by using Microsoft account. We will not use that, of course so we’ll select the option at the bottom of the screen “Add a user without a Microsoft account.”
