Amazon stops selling Apple TV and Chromecast
Amazon is working for more than fifteen years to earn a
reputation for selling almost “everything”, where you can find almost every
product and order it virtually from all over the world. The official has announced
that this will not happen any longer. From October 29, no listings for Apple TV
and Chromecast will be allowed at Amazon.
A spokesperson said that the addition had to do with Prime
Video, which isn't available easily on the Google and Apple devices. The new change
comes just before the holidays, when sellers make most revenue. Last month
Google and Apple updated all their video streaming devices, as Amazon did,
which makes a type of streaming devices under the Fire TV.
Amazon globally bans both devices, and also including old
models, according to a man familiar with this matter. Google's Nexus video Player
box will also be banned from Amazon. Banning the Apple and Google video streaming
devices means that Amazon will be removing two of the most famous devices in
its store. On average Chromecast is on Amazon's list of Top 10 best-selling
electronic devices. On Thursday, it was on number 6. Apple TV is on the number
16th most popular electronic device in Amazon list.
According to researcher, game consoles such as the
PlayStation and Xbox have the most users in the US, with around 52 million in
last year. Dig deep into the list, Roku and Chromecast both have almost 23
million of users and Apple TV has around 18 million of users.
