Easy Trade Up
Microsoft wants you to own a new Windows 10 laptop and they
will pay you when you switch from your old MacBook or laptop.
A promotion offer from official has been launched named it “Easy
Trade Up”, by using this offer users can get $200 for an old laptop and $300
for selling a MacBook. After that user can spend that money back to buy a Windows
10 laptop that will cost around $599, Users will purchase it directly from
Microsoft Store.
The list of Windows 10 devices from which users can choose
includes the Asus ZenBook UX205, Dell XPS 13, and HP Spectre x360.
Surprisingly, Microsoft has not added its own devices in the
list. Sadly, both the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are nowhere to
be in offer.
If your device isn’t more than five years old, you can get
good price by selling that device through Amazon, eBay and even Gazelle. And if
your laptop is more than five years old then it makes sense to go through Easy
Trade Up program by Microsoft.
More than 1.1 million users has been installed Windows 10 on
their devices, its great news for Microsoft and awful for manufacturing
companies, as most individuals held off on buying new device when they want to
upgrade their OS for free. After a low period of PC sales in the summer,
it's not much surprising to expect such kind of offer from Microsoft and
manufacturers to get users to buy new device.
