HTC One A9 Review
HTC One A9 |
Rumors of an HTC smartphone aren’t new, but the extensive
quantity of rumors point to a superphone, possibly named the One Aero / A9.
It’s expected to release later in this year equipped with the powerful
specifications.
Release Date
HTC hasn't yet confirmed the release date of HTC Aero, but
it will release in late-2015 release. While Aero is another name for the A9, we
have also heard that the Aero is a phone with mid-range specifications and that
A9 is a more powerful phone.
In terms of availability of the phone, we are hearing in October,
before the Christmas shopping period. Either way we are expecting to release
in Q4, 2015.
HTC One A9 / HTC Aero price
The price of HTC Aero will be lower than the HTC One.
Although HTC Chairwoman told the Taipei Times that there would
be a great phone out in October, our resources tell us we are expecting
two phones: the HTC One A9 and the mid-range HTC Aero.
HTC One A9 / HTC Aero Specs
The HTC One A9 made appeared on Geekbench last week. The
benchmarking revealed the MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor and 4GB of
RAM, which only have been seen before on the Acer Predator 6 gaming phone.
Equipped with the most efficient processor in the phone industry right now, surpassing Nvidia’s Tegra K1 and Snapdragon 810. 4GB of RAM make it most powerful device in the market. The reports didn’t provide any other information. Past rumors tell a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel display, but that resolution was for the HTC Aero, not for the HTC One A9. Battery life is the big question with the both devices. Such a large amount of power is required to power a deca-core processor and 2K display, HTC has to outfit the phone with a powerful battery.
HTC One A9 expected to run Android Marshmallow out of the
box. This is according to @LlabTooFeR,
who has an awesome track record when it comes to HTC phones. He is also
reporting that the latest version of HTC’s user interface, Sense 7, also be installed
on the device.
The complete benchmark can be fake, as we’ve take a look on these sites again and again, but HTC has planned an event on September 29. A smartwatch is also expected to be announced at the event, alongside smartphones.

GeekBench reports that handset racks up a
multicore processor score of 5884 – which is far faster than the OnePlus 2's
score of 4741 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's score of 5084.While these
high scores point to a most powerful handset, it doesn't fully
blow these smartphones out of the water.
Claiming the big failure of the HTC One M9, HTC may want to
get another flagship quickly to bring in new users. It even announced the One
M9+ with a 2K display resolution earlier this year to test and entice dozens of
customers. So we can hopefully get a chance to try how fast this 10 core
monster is, if these rumors are accurate.
